SUNDAY JUNE 29, 2003-An old fire engine sits on display along with other Route 66 memorabilia on the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge. Between 1936 and 1955 the bridge was the primary Mississippi River crossing point for Route 66 travellers, (according to information posted on bridge).
